Our Carrier Base: Organic Fractionated Coconut Oil

Every Oligie parfum oil is built on a base of organic fractionated coconut oil (FCO) — a refined, lightweight, and skin-safe carrier oil that is:

Non-flammable — Fractionated coconut oil has a high flash point (typically above 300°F / 149°C), meaning it does not ignite under normal or shipping conditions. It is not classified as a flammable liquid under standard hazardous materials guidelines.
Alcohol-free — Unlike traditional eau de parfums or colognes, our oils contain no alcohol. This makes them gentler on the skin and safe for those with alcohol sensitivities.
Lightweight & skin-nourishing — Fractionated coconut oil is odorless, non-greasy, and absorbs easily, making it an ideal base for fragrance application.
Long shelf life — Because it does not go rancid quickly, FCO helps preserve the integrity of our fragrance blends.

Slow-Release Fragrance Technology

Our oil-based formula is designed for a slow, lasting release of fragrance throughout the day. The coconut oil base allows the scent to blend naturally with your skin chemistry, creating a more personal and longer-lasting wear experience compared to alcohol-based alternatives that evaporate quickly.

Shipping & Hazmat Classification

Because our parfum oils are alcohol-free and built on a non-flammable oil base with a high flash point, they do not meet the criteria for flammable liquid classification under standard DOT (Department of Transportation) or IATA hazardous materials regulations. They can be safely shipped via ground and air without hazmat restrictions.
